Hmm... The only way to explain this person's sudden emergence at the top of the list is either a bug I don't know about, or they are purposely cheating.
I CAN and will now add server-side detection for invalid scores. This is silly people, why are you cheating in a free flower growing simulator?? There are no prizes....sheesh.
Maybe if Jamieee is around, you can offer some insight. Maybe report a bug?

I have banned the invalid scoring person for a week from the online board. Tomorrow I will add the server side validation code. Shouldn't take long, and it will be fairly good at detecting future cheaters.
People: leave your clocks alone.

Messages in the forums show some have adjusted their phone clocks to give the illusion of greater elapsed time. Some hVe also claimed that their phones did this as the result of a bug such as a problem with Windows Vista and iPhone syncing Ffecting the time.
Some with too much time on their hands could also analyze the network traffic and simulate application traffic. I doubt the communication between the app and server is cryptographically signed to prevent spoofing. I am not familiar with iPhone apps this is something someone more familiar with iPhone's could answer.

me cuz I was yell n cheater!! He Literally blows by Adam and my self
Over night and gets like a 30cm lead!! Come on people!! And Adam,

there my be a glich in the program because when i got the new update for the rose i started from zero like every body but that night i was in 34 place and i whent to water my flower the add was loading and i notice that my moisture level stayed at 100 and the growth rate stayed at 4% when it was done i was 3rd now im 5th because misty moo is too good so i gave up on first place and wonted to get some sleep

Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't checked the scores today. I'll be looking into the scoring again today. Thankfully the fixes I put in have helped tremendously compared to the previous version, but there are clearly still a few bugs and/or exploits to sort out.

I still haven't had much of a chance to look into the bug yet. Hopefully soon. For now that person is banned from online scores temporarily. I suspect that it's a bug, as I have been informed by multiple people that there appears to still be one.

This one looks actually a little more suspicious since it is not a huge number but very close to the theoretical maximum for flower growth since you released the game.

It looks like someone simply multiplied 4cm/hr X 24hrs X 6 days = 576 cm
I think the actual possible would be 3.8cm/hr/avg X 24hrs X 5 days (I think Apple released the code on Dec 11) around 456 cm

I admit it I am being a bit compulsive with it right now - it will wear off eventually. It is a real trick to juggle between meetings at work. You find that you need to check it every 12 minutes... even when sound asleep...

Person is gone now. Don't be surprised if some of the old ones come back some times, I'm only banishing them for 1 week at a time. If at some point I feel that the game is 100% bug proof I'll perma-ban people, but not until then.
