OK, so my '00adam.mobi Downloader' application is nearing completion. I think I'll release it ad-free to start, and then figure out if it's worth adding in the greystripe ads. If it's used a lot than I will likely do it.
The downloader application is a simple program with an ULTRA-FAST catalog browsing feature. You can scroll through the entire catalog of 800 games with incredible speed. Not only that but it keeps track of the games you have already looked at and played, so you can easily sort it by 'un-checked', 'un-played', 'played', 'all' games. Finding another game to play was NEVER easier. There is also an 'update' feature that will check for newer versions, and automatically take you to the download page if one is available.
V1 may even be available on my site by the end of the day.

OK, so the downloader has been out for a day or so, and people seem to be using it. One thing I noticed is that some people seem to be using it without letting it 'update'. This will cause it to show the ENTIRE catalog of games, not just the ones that are compatible with your specific device. It will only update once, so if you let it do it's thing, everything *should* work properly after that. This only looks to be happening with a few people though, so I think we have a working application.
It's interesting to note, that after only 2 days, 1/7th of my 'game-details' page hits are now coming from people using my downloader. I hope this keeps going up, as it will mean people are continuing to use it.
I will work on v2 eventually. I want to have the option of choosing your device from within the application, so that I can upload this '00adam downloader' to other sites. At the moment, it must be distributed from my server, because I dynamically hard-code the device type whenever somebody downloads it.

Hey, I don't know dogg, but i downloaded the downloader on my w810i and it seems to keep crashing and resetting itself everytime I try to launch it. Seems I'll just have to browse the site for now. Well, either way the reason I came to this site is because Attack Chopper2. I thought 1 was great, then when I found 2 I was like, okay this is similar but looks like the stages are bigger. I didn't play it for a while cuz I thought I wouldn't like it like that but man, now it's the only game I play! Thanks and keep up the great work!

It crashes? Really? Does it crash when you try to download a game, or does it crash when it tries to update? Wow, I wasnot expecting that. If you wouldn't mind, I would love to find out what the problem is.

Only when I try to launch it after it's been downloaded. I've seen it happen with a few other apps that I had downloaded, but these phones are well-built (sony) so it does a pretty good job of just resetting itself when something doesn't seem right. Unfortunately, it doesn't give any insight as to what the problem is. All I see is sort of a intro to the downloader with repeated images in the background (right?) for a second then the screen turns black and then restarts the phone.

Hmm... Sounds like it dies when it tries to connect to my server and update the compatibility list. That's the first thing it does when the app launches. It only does it the first time, so if we can get that fixed, it should be OK.
I have no idea why that would kill the app/phone though. It's the same exact code that I use to update scores in all my games. Are you able to use the highscores features in any of the other games like AC2, 'Attack Brain', 'Origami whatever' ?

Trying to find the app...but I can't find it.
Also, when searching though your WAP on my phone, and I pick your name (and a few others) as a 'publisher' I get a Parser error.

I've been working on the site. I think I have all the parse-error's worked out again. I took the downloader down for now because I want to update it. I'll make it available again when the new update is ready.

Still getting the parse error. LG LX550 is what i'm using, but its possible that the default browser just sucks...

Thank you for mentioning this again!
I got it fixed for sure this time. There was a single <i> tag that was not closed on the page, so it wouldn't validate on mobile browsers.
