are there any threads on how to install any of these games to any phone? namely sidekick slide

Not on this board yet  The most reliable way is to set up a web page with download links for the games you want to install. Then all you need to do is browse to that webpage using your mobile, and click on the link to the .jad file. Same as when you visit sites like 00adam.mobi, wap.gamejump.com, wap.getjar.com, wap.mobilerated.com . Pretty much all devices support this method of installation, but you'll need to set up a webpage. Method 2 is to use a USB cable for your device, and hope that the software allows you to transfer games across it from your PC. I think only my Sony Ericsson and Nokia allow me to do this. Method 3 is to copy your apps to your phone's microSD/miniSD card if it has one and allows you to install games from it. My Sony Ericcson t710 allows me to do this, as well as my Nokia 5200, but none of my other devices. I can provide help with the web server setup if you'd like to use tjat method, but the other two are device/software dependent. I may even provide a zipped up web server that's already configured to serve J2ME files if people want it. Shouldn't be hard to do. |
