I finally ordered some new replacement cables for my IBM Model 'M' keyboards today. I'm getting tired of hunting around liquidators and thrift stores for these beasts. I've got a good collection of these keyboards, but the cables eventually wear out on me. I won't use anything but the buckling spring style keyboard.
Thankfully these things have replaceable cables. I may even break down and buy a brand new 'Unicomp' keyboard in the future, as they are the guys making the new ones(same design).
My keyboards range in manufacturing dates from 1989 to 1996(this one), and are all still going strong(except the cables).
