Hey guys,
Since the in game advertising money seems to have all but disappeared, I'm going to start trying to add features that would entice people to buy the add-free one. Here are my ideas so far
1) Custom avatars for forums. I'd give you a URL to enter as your 'avatar' (the image you use on message boards), and this image would have your flower, height and rank in it. Sound cool?
2) All flowers in 1 game. Don't know exactly how I want to switch between the flowers at the moment, but making them all available in the paid app seems like an obvious thing to do. Maybe I'll have a new score board called 'bouquet' that has the heights of all your flowers combined for a total score.
3) In game score browsing for all flowers. Have a rank in every flower score board, and be able to browse the entire score list for any one of them.
4) Have a star or something beside your name in the scoreboards if you are using the paid version.
5) Other suggestions? I'm starting to get desparate.

That would be great! (Idea #2, merging flowers.) I have both games and it's a real pregnant dog going back and forward.

Hi Adam,
I like Daisy much. I would gladly pay for a ad free version. Not because of the ads but because of the sometimes long load time of ads. And DON'T destroy a users score when updating to a payed version!!!
The ranking is nice but it'll be more nice if the user now of how many others the score is. I mean, if my score is#75 it would be nice to know out of how many others: #75 of 12902 for example.
Best
Michael

There's not much I can do about transferring the score between the paid and free versions of the games. I COULD work in an online save feature, but that would be a LOT of work for the few that would use it. Unfortunately the paid and free versions install as different games because of the way the Apple store is set up, so I can't just have one access the save file of the other.
So unfortunately you'll be starting fresh when/if you get the paid version.

Well, I think I'd add some other features to the paid version that will boost your growth.
The iPod is not like a PC, and I can't simply share files between the free and paid versions, which is why I can't easily transfer the flowers from free to paid.

Well I have some ideas for a paid version. I like the idea of having all flowers in one app and maybe you could have all flowers lined up on screen as a default screen. And you tap one to bring it up like the normal view of the flower. Then you can water it and check all the other scores of people etc. like you normally would. Just have a back to flowers button to bring you back to the "default screen". Possibly a water all button to save some time. Also I was thinking maybe having little upgrades for your your flower you can buy from a store. Like a temporary growing boost or longer moisture level (like it goes down slower than normal so you don't need to water it as much). Things like that. All these will only be temporary though. And you can get points for every centimeter your flower grows to buy the upgrades (1cm=1pt). The upgrades will be from 50-100 points or something. Maybe add in different backgrounds like clouds and space features when your flower gets taller and taller. Blue sky gets boring. ~Just My two cents

All in one game would be great! Especially if they were all in one game. If I were to pay for it, of course the ads would be gone, and that's a plus. As for now, I much prefer the way orchid and daisy display the ads. It's so much faster. AND ONE THING THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDED IM DEAD SERIOUS IS AN OPTION TO TURN OFF THE SCORES. Honestly, they're pretty annoying. You could probably change this in your iPod or phone's settings.

Why does it unrank you?! Something that would be nice would be to be able to grow more than one plant, and have them grow at different rates, and change colors of the flowers.

You become "unranked" when your flower grows faster than what is actually possible. This is sometimes caused by the date and/or time getting changed on your device, which makes your flower think more time has passed than in reality.
I have to keep the score boards fair, so anyone that grows faster than reality is "unranked" automatically. I usually un-ban people if they have a good reason to be reactivated.

Thx Adam 4 creating this game. At last I have a green Thumbbut... ...how do some Daffodils grow faster than others?! I'm ranked #11 (Wow),when suddenly out of nowhere a fellow player speeded past me, way up to #10,where i was before. I am NOT complaining, just wondering, if people use cheats??? Still i love that App and Spring-Greetz from Germany

You'd be surprised how often people actually do get mad about being passed on the leader board My system is actually really good at detecting cheaters. The only real way to cheat, is to change the clock on your phone to make it think more time has passed. My system will see that a person has grown faster than they should and ban them automatically. The bad part is that sometimes your glock gets changed accidentally by iTunes or battery loss, so it's not perfect. Usually if somebody is growing extra fast, it's because they hand their phone/ipod off to somebody else at night, and keep it going. That's right: some people water 24/7.

I would buy as it is! Different backgrounds would be nice; like every 1000 cm., etc. Would like to buy seeds as an alternative to giving my info to other companies. I like that I get seeds as time passes; but, it builds up oh so slowly.

Yeah, it builds up slow because there isn't much to spend it on. At the moment, it builds up at about 48seeds/day. So you can just about fertilizer your plant once every 3 days. Any more than that and I think it would end up being a bit silly. I'm open to ideas though, and the more stuff that you can spend your seeds on the better, even if we get rid of the 'offers'.
