Howdy folks. Purely for interest's sake, you will have noticed that I added flags to the score site. I also have flags working in game for the next version, so rejoice! Some people won't be detected properly. Don't be mad, it's not because I don't love you This is purely automated, and I don't have any way to manually change people's flags. My server simply tries to guess what country you are from using the IP address of your device. I am not covertly using your GPS location, so don't bug me about that. Some people come up with a detected country of "european union", for which I don't have a flag at the moment. Some people don't get detected at all. Anyone that isn't matched up with a country that I have a flag for will simply have a ?? flag image. I plan on uploading this to apple soon, but don't expect a release for a while, as they are going on vacation.

Very nice - it looks like the IP location service is not right. I use WiFi on an ATT subnet which resolves to [IP].lightspeed.gdrpmi.sbcglobal.net which is obviously a US based subnet. www.ip2location.com resolves my location properly as well. Sounds like a config or code issue.

The code I'm using is free, and I have not checked for updates in about a year. There may very well be better systems out there, but 95% is good enough for free games

I guess because I am behind a router & a couple of firewalls it can not detect my country as I am in Canada but come up with the question marks for all my flowers?

I think the library I use to detect countries simply uses a lookup table with a large list of class-A and B network masks. I am guessing yours is simply not there. Oh well, welcome fellow Canadian!
