I've uploaded the latest version of 'Origami Rose' to the app store. It should be ready starting in a few days. I was going to release it a couple weeks ago, but I received a new version of the advertising code, and wanted it out with the new version of Rose.

I just installed it. It works but my scores are not posting to the web site and I can't see other players. My old v6 score still shows on my iPhone even after the upgrade.

Well now that the new version is finally available, I'll be switching the website over to the score board for the new version tomorrow. Your scores will transfer, but right now the website is showing the v6 board. In game you will be seeing only other people that have updated to v12 already. Of course all the active players will switch over soon, so don't worry.

...OK I lied. I updated the website just now. For some reason I'm not ready for sleep yet, and it's almost 1:00am here. I'm usually ready to drop by now.

I just submitted "Orchid v12" for release in the app store. Should be available early to mid next week.
The biggest change for v12 is under the hood. You guys won't see it, but Orchid and Rose are using 2 different 'analytics' systems to show me how often my games are played, and for how long etc. All of the different ad companies have these features, but their reporting systems are all broken. Also, the two analytics companies I'm using don't let you use their advertising until they've evaluated you app using the analytics system.
So I'll hopefully have access to 2 more ad companies for testing if they like the stats from Rose and Orchid.

I think I've mentioned this 5 or 6 times now, but the flag is assigned by my web server. It's automatic, and cannot be changed. Some people are detected incorrectly, that's just the way it is.
Maybe in the future I'll get you a way to chose your own flag, but for now we'll just have to live with my stupid web server that can't get it right. I'll beat it senseless with a stick for ya!

Orchid v12 is now available. As per usual, it may take a day or two for your country to have it in the app store.

The silly app store wasn't listing the update even for me yet! I seem to have forced the app store to refresh it's list by changing the name of my flower games to "iFlower: Origami <name>". I suppose the app store realizes that it MUST refresh the list when you change the app name, so now it's listing v.12 of Orchid for me. Hopefully it will for you too.

I dunno. If you hit the app store and have a look, it should list the version number on the download page. I would assume it's out now, but I have no way to check unfortunately.

Ok, was just about to delete the origami rose I just got. It started growing already, on the iPhone.. So is that it? Can only play on iPhone? I tried to go on my laptop for a change and try it out. Doesn't seem to work there.

You can't play iPhone games of any kind on any laptop, doesn't matter who made it. *please* try to keep your post in the same threads, and try to make new threads for new issues instead of posting all over the place
