Hey guys,
For the 3 people that may read this post, I am apologizing for the server down-time over the last 24hrs. I've been frantically working to figure out why my server decided to suddenly stop working properly. As it turns out, it wasn't even my fault!
My server provider decided that it would be a good idea to enable a special hardware firewall for my account. Of course this immediately broke all my traffic on ports other than 80(standard http). I never got an email, and because the firewall is external to my server I never got any sort of errors on the server side. It mysteriously just wasn't seeing any connection attempts on other ports.
I have submitted a request to my provider to remove this 'feature', and all will be well again soon.
Later, Adam.

Thanks for the explanation, Adam.
It was a bit exciting to be ranked 4th for a bit, I must say!
Please post again when you get your ports back.

All should be up and running properly again. I worked a 17hr day yesterday, 6 hours of which was trying to figure out why everything suddenly stopped working.
Also, Apple rejected the latest iPhone flower game. didn't have a good day yesterday...
This all happened within 5 minutes... 1) Upload new server code 2) Emulator started bugging out on my when using socket connections. (firewall problem) 3) Test phone runs out of battery power (doh!) 4) Super Rewards service becomes unavailable (coincidence) 5) Score board wiped out on java devices (unknown reason) 6) Server kept a cache of old .jsp pages for some unknown reason, even after restart. (piece of s**t)
I still don't know why we lost the scores. The Super Rewards service was only down for 10 minutes, but it happened to be that exact 10 minutes when everything else went wrong. Sorry about this, I just needed to vent after losing much sleep.

Tomorrow will hopefully be better! What was the reason for Apple to reject your latest flower game?

Reason? d**ned if I know. Apple never even sent me an email about the rejection! I've been trying for a month to find out why they are delaying my games, and now they're straight up rejecting for no reason as well!

That sucks. How are you supposed to react if you don't know what's wrong with your submission? Was this new flower game dramatically different from your previous ones in some way?

The new versions of the flower games include some stuff you can spend you 'seeds' on. The seeds are earned using the offers provided by Super Rewards. I know there is no problem with Super Rewards because there are lots of games using it in the App store, even one of the featured games (chosen by apple).
This situation is stupid. It has both me and the guy at Super Rewards confused, 'cause he can't get any responses about this situation from Apple either!

... oh yeah, if you want to know what's new in the iPhone version, just download the latest java version from 00adam.mobi/rose2.jsp . The 'menu' is fugly in the java version, but it has basically the exact same features.
