I've grown tired of all the issues people can have because of the clocks on their devices. Faulty clocks are the #1 cause for problems when it comes to growing flowers.
So I am moving the ENTIRE game online for the android version. The client will still look the same, but will require internet access to play EVERY time. Every time you play it'll download the flower from my server, show you what changed and let you water it or purchase stuff with seeds. When you water or buy stuff it will make another connection to my server to tell it what happened. This will seem familiar to people that have played games like iMafia, where it connects every time you do anything.
This is the best way to prevent cheating and bugs. I can make all the changes I want and everyone will instantly be fixed at the same time. I didn't do this for the iPhone/iPod version because iPod's don't always have internet access. I highly doubt anybody with an android device will have problems getting online.
This should satisfy most people... I hope.

Server work is mainly finished for the android version now. Also, the client was almost done anyway. I should have it ready for release in under 2 weeks, but it depends on when I can get my hands on Greystripe's android advertising system.

Game is 95% done. Only things left are some cleanup, progress indicators(time passing, and downloading), and to insert the Greystripe ads. I've added custom flags to this version. Android made this easy Players of the android version can select whichever country flag they want from their store page. It's also possible for me to add any number of new flags to the game without requiring players to update! I just have to put the new flags on my server, so I'll be open to custom flag requests. This version is much more solid than any previous flower games. It's java, but also more robust because it's running on android instead of Midp.

I think I'll make custom flags cost seeds. There needs to be more things to spend seeds on, and this will be an interesting one to add. Flag chosing works very well now. I moved it int-game instead of on the 'spend seeds' webpage that gets loaded in the in-game web browser. It was taking forever to load all the 239 country flags on that page, but it goes pretty much instantly through the in game interface. Chosing any country flag will not cost seeds.

Still waiting for advertising support from my favorite mobile ad provider (Greystripe). They told me it's coming soon, so I'm still holding off my release on android. If I hear back from them that android support is being pushed back, I'll release right away... Not that anyone here cares about android yet. Seeing as all the current visitors got came here because of the currently supported devices(Java, iPhone).
