Would you play a combat oriented flower game?

So you'd be able to chuck rocks at each others flowers. You could buy rocks using the seeds, and you could also build a wall to defend yourself.

->The wall could be upgraded from a chain fence->wooden fence->brick wall.

->You'd have to build up the wall to block rocks higher up. Different walls offer a better % chance of stopping enemy rocks. Tall flowers would be harder to defend.

->When you get hit by rocks you lose some height
->You can only attack people that are +/100 ranks from you?
->Create teams
->Different flowers have different capabilities(bigger rocks, faster growing, cheaper fence etc)
->Hitting somebodies wall damages it. If damaged too much it loses some height.
->You are safe from attack when your sun is down, and you never know if somebody else's sun is down until you attack them.

Paranoid people that put their sun down wouldn't have as much time to grow, and the people that try to grow all day and night would be more vulnerable to attack. I would make this a completely separate game of course, since I am sure there are many people that just want their flowers to grow in peace.

I don't want to seem like a downer, but I've been really put off iPhone development by apple lately. If I go ahead with this in the future it may end up being android only... unless Apple decides to play nice with my releases again.

Oh definately YES!! Not that I don't love just growing my rose, the combat version would put a whole new twist on things!!! Think it would catch on fast!!! Do it, pleez!!

I've actually already released combat for the android devices. I may go on and release a new game for iPhone/iPod in the future using the same server so that iPhone and android people could be in the same game. iPhone and iPod releases take forever though, so we'll have to wait until the android version is 100% complete and not being updated every day.

At the moment I am adding new features to the android version almost daily. Mainly because as soon as I'm done an update, everyone with an android device in the world can access it immediately. On the iPhone it takes a month for people to get their hands on the update, and new versions cannot be uploaded until the previous one is made available.

A flower combat game sounds great! It would surekeep u on top of things to protect your precious flowers! COOL!

You should actually make players +/- 500cm attackable, when you get to the tops (top 50 or something), being able to attack nr 1 (only 50 rank away), is kinda unfair, since the height difference might be enormous..

So centimeters instead of ranks ?

But then the top guy could get away from the seconds place, and never be attacked. Is that ok? I haven't tweaked the combat for quite some time, and I know it needs a lot of work.

In fact way back in the day we did have some combat in the flowers. It was pretty lame the way I did it though, lol.

Maybe I should make a new game that has the combat enabled, so that it doesn't interfere with the current passive flowers.
