;D
I just finished Attack Paddle. Unfortunately I wasn't able to cram in as many levels as I had hoped, but it's still got over 200! I havn't even been able to reach level 150 yet with over 6 hours of playtime logged on my phone, so don't worry about the number of levels.
I spaced the Rewards achievements out, so that if you try for it, you can get one about every 15 or 20 minutes of playing, at least for the first couple hours.
The factory upgrades for extra balls and starting levels are cheap, so that you can pretty much ALWAYS make some progress. Every time you play, you should be able to make a new ball or starting level at the factory. The paddle-size and multi-launch upgrades are considerable more expensive, since the paddle size can only be upgraded 16 times, and the multi-launch eats your balls really fast. You won't likely get a multi-launch until a few HOURS into the game.
Your progress while playing is saved at the start of every level, so that if you close the program with your "end" button on your phone, you can continue from the start of that level next time you play. All saving is automatic, and all the settings are saved all the time. If you get interrupted by a phone call, the game will pause, giving you the option to "quit". If you do, your progress is still saved. If you "Abort" from the pause screen, it completely erases the current game, so you can go back to the level-setup screen again.
The garage screen lets you tweak all the controls to your liking, and the valuse are auto-saved when you change em. Just hit the "test" button in the garage, or press fire, and an empty test level will let you try out the controls you have set.
Highscores are saved as well, and you can scroll through them with up/down. There is no on-line scoring in this version. If this game is as popular as I hope it will be, I'll make a new version with online score tracking in the future.
The about screen just gives a quick summary of the controls, the url for this message-board along with the credits for the game (me, and my wife).
That's it. Play the game. It should be available soon from gamejump.com, getjar.com and mobilerated.com. As soon as I have the 3 versions compiled and submitted to these sites, it's just a matter of waiting for them to approve the game and make it available.
