AC2 is finished. I have sent it to the advertising guys, so it'll be ready at the start of April with advertising from gamejump.com I have also sent it in to the guys at Kalador.com, so hopefully it'll be on sale soon there, as well as having a free trial version on mobilerated.com. I really hope you guys like AC2. It's been a long time coming, but I think it's worth the wait. The only thing that worries me, is that it may cut into the number of people downloading/playing AC1. AC1 is still a great game, so don't stop playing guys I'm not sure what to do for my next game. I think AC2 will finally be making me enough money that I can spend a little more time during development on my next game if needed. So I've been trying to think of a good online multiplayer game to make. I'd love to make a MMO of some kind, but havn't done the testing yet to see exactly what the ping / lag / latency / reliability of network communication between a server and phone is like. I am betting that the ping time will be close to 2 or 3 seconds, so that immediately destroys any hope of real-time player vs player action. Slower turn based games, or simultaneous yet independant games will likely work out just fine though. I've noticed that a lot of racing games are doing well on gamejump.com, even though they pretty much all suck. Maybe some kind of racing game? I did have that "Attack HQ" RTS game in the works around september last year, but shelved it because I wanted to do multiplayer. Maybe I'll ressurect that. Any ideas? What would you guys like to see most in a mobile device?

As a fan of racing games, that would be my first suggestion ;D

Cool. Thanks for the reply. So far that's
Racing: 1 Anything else on earth: 0
I have decided to put off my next big game until after a simple game/collection to test the online system first. Maybe I'll still do a racing game.

Thank you! Sorry for suggesting other developers - but maybe you've seen 4x4 Ralley (by Gameleons). They've implemented a BT function... this combined with Formula 1/Nascar/Champ Car series could be very cool But even a 'simple' racing game with online leaderboard would make me spend my oney (just like Pitstop from breakpointgames - but they have no highscore list). But I'm looking forward to your game collection. Feel free to drop me a mail (c.ihls (at) web.de) after completing - the the shop from which to buy

I have a question. I'm trying to find the full version on the websites you provided but I keep downloading the free trial version. I want the full version for both AC1 & AC2 but I seems to be having a hard time finding it on any website. Also, please let me know if your game is compatible with a Samsung T629. Thank you for your attention!

If you grabbed the "trial" version of any of my games over the last week from mobilerated.com, then you actually have the full game. They screwed up bigtime. Also, kalador.com was SUPPOSED to have all my games available for purchase, but they seem to have dissapeared, which is also a mistake. Normally, the "trial" versions only let you play 5 times, then give you an option to buy the game. I know that a lot of people will have a hard time finding my games for sale. It's REALLY hard to get onto the big sites without a deal with a big publisher. My games are all available for purchase through clickgamer.com, and will be through kalador.com. Free ad-supported versions can be found at gamejump.com and getjar.com (AC2 is not available in an Ad-supported version yet)

Sorry, to mention that - but the trial version from getjar seems to be the full version, too!! But dn't worry, I'll buy it from clickgamer, too - or send you the money via PayPal AC2 keeps me glued to my phone - even during work - for more than two hours now... actually, I've played much longer, as I have to try some passages over and over again

Yeah, I got everything fixed late yesterday. It takes the site at getjar.com more than 24 hours to update all their mirrors.
Sounds like my games will FINALLY be updated in the mad4games library. I've had AC1 with them since June of last year, but never made enough sales to cover the cost of mailing the contract over-seas. They will have all ov my games available in some kind of "budget" sections of their system, and should be avaiable in Australia, and many locations in Europe.
I just asked them if they'd like to have AC2 as well, but they often take MONTHS to get back to me about anything.

Hi there LOVE AC2, brilliant game, I am 'Duncan' on the high score table (and on Attack Brain) I did think it was rather a large demo.... so I'll either get an ad version when they come out, or send money, as it is the game that has glued me to my phone for the last few days!! I'm stuck on 99%, as I cant find the last couple of radars etc that were shielded, it's frustrating, but I'll get onto it later. Anyway, thought I'd say thanks for both AC1 & 2, shouldn't be long before you're snapped up by developers!!! Suggestions wanted? I have a few (I have no idea about coding, so dunno if this stuff is easy or not!) - Control the map (scroll around) so you can see all the areas - Homing missiles destroyed by artillery (they are slow and easy-ish to avoid, maybe make destroying them worthwhile by giving a power up if you blow it up?) - Attack Chopper 3???

Hi! I was wondering when you were gonna hit 100%+ By the way you CAN go over 100%, each time you finish the game it gets harder and your % keeps going up. You don't have to kill the radars. You only have to kill the red flashing stuff on the map. I bet it's something in the top-left corner or the top-middle. There are some rotating flamers that you couldn't kill because of their shields the first time you went passed them. I purposely left some things in there that you'd have to re-visit after shutting down the shields. This is in the game to help separate the good completion times from the bad. Somebody who's been through the game one or 2 times will know where to go, and get a better time. I debated letting users scroll the map, but decided against it. The onyl reason I don't let you do it, is because users will notice the HIDEOUS framerate in the map screen. It re-draw's the entire map every frame, and if you don't have an uber phone, you'll only see the dots blinking like 1 time every 2 or 3 seconds. They actually blink EVERY frame. I know it's my fault, but that's why you can't scroll the map, sorry Hey, do you guys think a map posted here in the messageboards would make it too easy, or would it be a good bonus for you guys who actually visited my messageboard? I could sticky it.

I'd like a map very much!
And why should it make the game more easy, as I can bring the map up by myself in the game, every time I like?
But I've wondered, if there is a complete overview, so I can look forward for the things awaiting me later in the game (I'm at about 28% now...).

Woo! 101%! It was two bog standard cannons in one of the large areas that I'd missed I don't think the map will help too much, as it will show you the routes, but not where you've missed enemies, but it'll help to go over each bit when you're lost! ;D My time was crap as I play it while at work, and occasionally put it down without pausing Well, that's the excuse I'm sticking with....

Oh, by the way, I have a sony ericsson z520i, and the map screen flashes really fast, does that mean my phone is good? I did get some lag when there was about 30 cannons around me once, but that is obviously to be expected, it is only a phone... Sorry for the double post, I'm doing this on my phone (good old opera mini ) and can't do really long posts

Your phone is pretty fast. Most of the Sony-Ericsson pnones are really good. If you are curious about how it stacks up against other phones, check out jbenchmark.com , their database is huge. The important benchmark results are the "jbenchmark 1.0" and "jbenchmark 2.0" numbers.

Is it just me (on my Motorola v360) or is it MUCH harder to use the fire button? I have used all the previous version with zero problems (much enjoyment actually) I can complete AC1 without loss of life, but now I'm dead within 2 minutes because the button click event is ignored. I even have this issue on the MAP! (have to hit the fire button repeatedly before it goes away) Please resolve this! I need a regular fix of this game to get me through the day.

That's a strange problem. I havn't changed the code for the buttons. I have no idea what could be causing that kind of problem.
I'll have a look, and see if I can figure out what's wrong....
OK, I've had a look at the code, and think I know what the problem might be. I've made a change, e-mail me, and I'll send you a link with a test version that has a fix that may help.
