I thought i'd just post a quick thread to say "HI" and say how addictive these games are.
I'm growing all 5 plants but most of my concentration is on the sunflower and can't put it down.
I have only been playing it for a little while but have made some good progress but to get up into the top 50 is going to be a little while away.
Once again this is an excellent game.

Hi Adam,
Although i am finding my way around the app are there any insutructions \ wiki as i'm trying things without really understanding what impact they have on the plants growth.

The only stuff that really affects plant growth are in the items screen. Basic growth rate x multipliers. The multipliers come from the fertilizer, super fertilizer and if you have more than 87.5% moisture. Max multiplier is x16 from these things combined.
If you warp, then time passes at 30x speed until the warp runs out.

Thanks Adam thats pretty much what i thought.
I've managed to climb the rans a little tonight by some hard graft from 314+ to 202 (at the time of writing)
All legit and i have not cheated.
I'm getting there an catching you up lol

Well, there's no real way to cheat in this game. If you figure out a way to do it, please let me know though.

I'll be sure to do so although i'm not sure where to start really. but you never know.
I'm currently at #144 but i'm contemplating selling my stalk height to buy seeds to increase my basic growth rate. not sure if its the right thing to do but its a gamble.

It's just a catch-all. If you decide to put in a "buy" order and set the price at or above 9*/cm, you can buy as much as you want. The system will simply sell it to you.

I've tried that but could not get it to work. however i'm not sure if i want to go and buy as much as i want. Its not very sportsman like.

You also have to have the funds available to make the purchase. 9*/cm is a ridiculous price that nobody would ever want to buy at anyway.
