This may interest some....
A few people e-mailed me over the last year or so to mention that there was a level you couldn't launch balls on if you had the maximum paddle size. Also, people asked me if it was possible to change the level at the start.
To fix these issues, I have add a few levels near the start of the game, as well as tweaked the problematic one.
The problem people had with chosing their starting level/balls/paddle-size was completely a graphical issue. Apparently I didn't make it obvious enough that all you had to do is push up/down/left/right at the 'Start' screen. So I added some cover-my-ass instructions on that screen.
I have also included the beta version of Greystripe's online scoring system. That's right, the updated version of ABP has online scores. It only has online scores for the 'highscore' stat, and not any of the others. Hopefully in the future they'll add the feature of multiple score tables per game.
The only thing about this version that people will not like, is that I'm also testing the in-game ads between levels. So between each level it will display an ad if one is available. This is the first test of this system, so I will likely be reducing the frequency of ads in the future, but I wanted to start with the (most annoying) + (highest potential revenue) version. I'll likely end up only showing ads once every 2nd 3rd or 4th level.
This new version will be called 'Attack Breaker - LX', so that it's easy to tell which version you are downloading. I've already uploaded to greystripe, so we're just waiting for them to work on their end of things before this gets released.
