Well, I have managed to chop a significant amount of code from Attack Chopper, so that I can keep the fileSize below 64KB with the advertising version.
I didn't know if this was going to be possible, but it looks good. I still need to re-make ALL of the levels, since the re-code of Attack Chopper requires a different structure for the storage of the levels.
Hopefully I will have the re-created levels finished within a few days, so that I can release a version of Attack Chopper that EVERYONE can play, not just people that can run stuff over 64KB.

It's done. I am just waiting for the advertising company to finish up their testing and release the ad supported version of Attack Chopper.
This will be the final release of "Attack Chopper" as it is now. If people like it(duh), I'll release something like "Attack Chopper: Secret Missions" or whatever with 30 or 40 all new levels in a few weeks.
The final version of AC is 1.80, and does NOT have sound. I have also removed the screen transitions. The screen transitions were nice, but ate memory, and most people turn sound off when they play, so I chopped it out completely. I didn't want to remove those features, but I needed to get the game below 64KB so that everyone is able to install the game. Some of the major sites don't have their servers configured properly, and lots of people experience installing games that are over 64KB because of the SERVER even if the phone should be able to handle 64KB+ games. One of those sites is getjar.com, which is the only site that has my game available(free version and demo) for now. I tried e-mail'n them a bunch of times, but they won't listen to me. EVERY single Bell/solo/pcmobile subscriber in Canada is blocked from downloading games over 64KB from getjar.com because they haven't added the "Cache control: no-transform" header to their wap server.
I have also cleaned up the code a lot and fixed all the little nags that were buggin me about AC. The game should run smoother, look better and be 100% bug free now.
Anyhoo, like I said, the game should be out soon, so anybody that tried to download the free AC full Ad-version from getjar in the last week but it would run/install will have a working version soon.

Full game is available now on Getjar.com. I suppose they don't work on the weekend, since it took em 3 days (friday, Saturday, Sunday) to put the new one up for download just this morning(Monday).
This is it. If Attack Chopper can pull in some advertising $$$'s now, I'll know if I can actually make a living giving games away for free. I would really love to keep doing it this way, since I don't want to go work in an office cubicle again. If this can't help pay the bills, I'm gonna have to get a 'real' job again...
On the up-side, if people play AC a decent amount I WILL release "Attack Chopper: Secret Missions" in a few weeks. I have a few KB to play with, which should allow me to make a new version with about 40 all new levels in it. I'm gonna need to fund my development of "Attack HQ" with it most likely.
I wish all this advertising stuff hadn't taken me A MONTH to get done. It's annoying, since I started with a finished product, and ended with virtually the same thing after a month of work and bug hunting.
Gamejump.com has a much better site now, and Getjar.com has e-mailed me to say they will be adding the header fix for large downloads soon. I wonder if I even needed to make those changes, since Getjar is fixing their site? It's not fixed yet, so I suppose it was worth the effort.
...Anybody out there?

Well hello me.
I am in the process of creating "Attack Chopper : Unlimited". This has the cool feature of being able to download new mission packs! I already have this feature working, just have to update the UI so that it asks you when you want to update. I just have a "DOWNLOAD" button on the main screen, which does the job, but doesn't jump out at you when you finish all the available levels.
So, umm ...yeah. I'll have this ready for people to play in a couple weeks. I'll release it with all new levels, so nobody has to play through the originals again. Since you can download level packs, I am going to have a few HUNDRED levels for this version of AC. Sound good?
...hello?
...I guess nobody cares. People do play AC though. I hope everyone wants more levels as much as I do...
...200?...300?...400? Anybody?
