Forced sleep time won't solve anything, the time allowed to grow will still be used fairly and unfairly by some regardless.

I know that I grow mine all by myself without cheating the only thing I go without sometimes is a good night of sleep because I set my alarm to wake me every 10 minutes , but of course I have grown immune to my alarm and I often sleep through it going off! My girlfriend would like to blow-up my iPhone to kill the flowers! At work they just haven't caught on yet!

I'll suggest that you have different sleep rules for different flower games. One game should stay as it works now. Another game forces sleep each day. Another flower would allow the user to set the sleep timer, etc. This should provide different experiences and appeal to different types of players.
Another interesting twist would be to allow people to water before 95% but then penalize future growth due to overwatering.

heyyy, just a quick suggestion I had. So, i got a flower ranked when i started to get the whole "plug into your computer and the clock resets" problem, killing it off. I pretty much lost hope of getting it back looking at the Daffodil scores now. So anyway, i'm sure you've heard of it, but my suggestion is this. BEFORE you calculate how much your flower has grown, check the clock, and if it's behind the previous time, ask the user if they are sure they want to continue/if the time is correct to avoid another flower sharing a similar fate as mine. (it's happened to my daffodil 3 times, and my other 3 flowers just now...and they were all about 400 almost 500 cm T.T) Also another thing i've noticed, the thing says if you don't call the sun for 24+ hours it will wilt, but i've noticed all flowers but the Daffodil wilting after 12 hours of night time, and even growing if i water them =/ anyway, just wanted to give my 2 cents, love the apps, keep up the good work ^^ ^ Twelve hours day time, twelve hours night time. Also, Adam, I had more than 24 hours of night for my orchid and my rose, but only my rose actually shrank after "night".

I altered the amount of time before shrinking in the new version

Oh, that makes sense. It will be that way in all of them later on, right?
And btw, thanks for all of the hard work you put in.

Yep. When I eventually get around to making all of them the same version, they will all take longer to shrink.

Sometimes your clock gets changed when it sync's with iTunes, so make sure you check the date and time before watering your flower.
I un-banned you, but the reason you were unranked is that your flower grew much much faster than is possible normally. This happens every once in a while. I wish there was a fix for it.

Thanks for the game, Adam. It's a very simple game, but seeing your flower grow and your flower go up in ranks gets very addicting.
As I recognize names, I would like to see the people ranked above and below me, so that I can see who is growing faster and slower than me.
I think it would also be interesting to keep a web site where you could see ALL the players, their ranks and heights. It doesn't need to be accurate up to the second, just update and publish daily or hourly.
I also think it would be fun to have different backgrounds that the flowers grow through. At the beginning, it was very exciting to see how far your flower had grown because you could measure a visual distance from the ground, mountains and clouds. The butterfly is great, but what if there were more clouds at every 50 cm mark and something else (satellites? birds?) at every 100 cm mark. It would be a visual reference of accomplishment.

Good suggestions. It'll be fairly easy to make a webpage for browsing the flower scores. As for seeing the people directly above/below you, at the moment it's not displayed simply because the text would overlap on the measuring stick. Maybe a separate screen with the scores would be useful for displaying the ranks near yourself.
